What shipped, and when.

Cadence now moves the way your hands expect. Drag any task and drop it exactly where it belongs — an insertion line shows the spot — within a section, into another one, or with a whole multi-selection at once. Sections drag to reorder, clients drag between portfolios in the rail (their tasks follow), and the board’s cards reorder inside their columns. “+ Add section” now works the natural way: click, type the name, Enter. And the list grew real columns: a + at the end of the header adds custom fields — single-select pills that color themselves, text, numbers — and hides the built-ins you don’t use. Neo’s chronic “couldn’t open the microphone” is fixed at the root (capture and playback no longer share one audio engine), unplugging headphones mid-conversation fails cleanly instead of muting him forever, and Neo voice now runs on included monthly minutes — generous ones — with top-ups redeemable in Settings ▪ Plan. Dictation rescues itself when a Bluetooth mic goes silent: two seconds of provable dead air and the take continues on the built-in mic, nothing lost; a mic you pinned yourself is never overridden. ⌥⌘B pastes your latest download wherever you’re typing. And a fresh install now starts properly empty — existing installs quietly clean up the sample portfolios the first betas shipped with. Under the hood: thirty-plus fixes from a full-codebase audit, including safer license handling and honest error messages where there used to be silence.

Nothing Cadence archives is out of reach any more. The sweeps that tidy old call tasks always promised “archived, not deleted” — now there is an Archive in the rail where every archived task sits, banded by the day it was taken, with Restore on each row, Restore for a whole day, and Restore all. If a sweep ever takes thousands of tasks it shouldn’t have, putting them back is one click, not thousands. The Action Board arrives on Home: everything asking for your attention — calls, Signals, Amazon — on one board, grouped by client, with Neo in the right pane already looking at the same rows you are; anything that would change the outside world is proposed, never fired. Dictation’s Prompt mode can now see your screen: a 📎 button on the bar attaches a screenshot — capture a region, grab your latest shot, or pick a file — so the prompt it writes knows what you are looking at. Dictation also stopped trusting a dead model twice: if the fast cleanup provider retires a model mid-week, Stilou discovers a live one and moves on instead of pasting raw text until a restart. Halo notes resume where you left off, autosave with a visible tick, and ask before deleting; Return continues numbered and bulleted lists; and ⌘B, ⌘I, ⌘U finally work in notes without re-fonting your chat drafts.

Stilou stops working when it should be resting. Sitting idle, doing nothing at all, it was using a noticeable slice of your processor — the dictation pill asked the system which screen your cursor was on, on every single mouse movement, forever. It now asks once and remembers, which took idle use from 13% of a core to almost nothing. Everything feels quicker as a result, not just dictation. Neo stops being a key you have to know about. There is a NEO button in the title bar on every screen now, it opens Neo’s voice rather than a second assistant, and it arrives already knowing what you are looking at — so “why did that one jump?” has something to point at. Press it on Signals and you get a fresh conversation about Signals, not the tail of the one you were having about Amazon; the Right Option key stays exactly as it was, general and context-free. Standing work runs on one clock. Your client scan now keeps to the cadence you chose even when the Signals tab is closed — before, “hourly” quietly meant “hourly, while you happen to be watching”. Brain folds new memories in without needing a relaunch. Every scheduled job files a receipt in Neo’s room saying why it woke, what it did, and whether it worked, and Run now genuinely runs a job instead of deciding it wasn’t due yet.

Dictation stops blaming your microphone for someone else’s outage. A long recording used to give up and park itself in the recovery queue when the transcription service was down — even with the on-device model ready and waiting; it now finishes on your Mac. And when something does fail, Stilou says whether it was the service, the key, or your connection, instead of “cloud hiccup”. Brain moves to Home, where it belongs: it is the layer everything else reads from, not a tool you pick up. Neo gets a room of its own — its standing jobs, when each last ran, and what it knows. You can now ask Brain a question inside one client or project, with everything else held out and a banner saying so. Library and Insights are retired: Style and Dictionary moved next to the microphone in Settings, Prompts was always the Hub’s, and Insights’ real numbers moved to Home. Halo notes save into their own notebook, the composer resizes, pasted text keeps its spacing, and ⌘⇧4 takes a screenshot again. Amazon syncs now pull every layer — search terms and ranks — into Brain, and back the whole history up once a month to a folder you choose.

Dictation you can see and fix. Settings now has a Microphone card: pick exactly which mic Stilou listens to (or leave it on Automatic), watch a live meter prove it hears you, and one Reset audio button that revives a dictation key that went quiet — after switching headphones, waking from sleep, or updating. Signals reads inside Slack threads now, so a question you already answered stops showing as waiting, and the board leads with what actually happened last. Amazon reports grew up: a daily read at nine, a weekly on Mondays, a monthly on the 1st — every number compared fairly against the same number of days — filed in a calendar tree by month, week, and day.

A large Signals repair. Slack reads again, and scans are no longer cancelled part-way through — a big workspace now catches up properly, and the card shows how much of it was actually read. Sentiment counts your own replies, not just the client’s, and weighs the most recent messages heaviest. The queue can be sorted by what happened most recently, not only by who has waited longest. The home brief and the queue can no longer disagree about who needs you. Your team’s own announcements stop being counted as client messages. Plus a setup chapter that proves the three keys work, and 90 days of every Amazon brand folded into Brain.

Fixes Slack going quiet. Stilou now asks for the two permissions Slack needs to LIST your conversations — without them it could not enumerate channels at all, so Signals stopped reading everything, not just direct messages. Reconnect Slack in Settings › Sources after updating: the reconnect is what grants them.

A new setup chapter proves the three keys actually work — dictation, ⌥Space and Neo — and when one doesn’t, it names the missing permission instead of leaving you guessing. The same check lives in Settings so you can re-run it any time. Every Amazon brand’s last 90 days is now folded into Brain week by week, under the brand’s own name and linked to its client, so Neo and Ask can reason across your numbers and your conversations together. Diagnostics are on by default (bounded, local) so a problem can be explained rather than guessed at. Sources now says plainly when a Shurq key is connected but no days have been pulled to this Mac yet.

Auto-update is live — Stilou now checks daily and tells you here, and never installs on its own. Setup can be re-run any time from Settings, and the wizard can no longer be skipped by closing it. Connecting Slack, Read.ai, Gmail and Calendar is fixed: the sign-in window opened behind Stilou, so it sat on “Connecting…” forever — it now comes forward, and a stalled sign-in says what happened. Dictation says when it lacks Microphone or Speech Recognition instead of showing a bar that captures nothing. The follow-up email button explains itself. Dictating no longer starts music that was never playing.

Fixes connecting a source: the sign-in window could open behind Stilou, so Slack, Read.ai, Gmail and Calendar would sit on “Connecting…” forever with no error. It now comes forward, and a stalled sign-in says what happened instead of spinning. The setup wizard can no longer be skipped by closing its window.

Home is the brief: one sentence naming the day, up to five actions, and a stamp saying when it ran and which sources it could not see. Sign in with Google — Stilou now has an account, and the first-run wizard opens with it. Dictation no longer starts your music when nothing was playing.
