Who it’s for

Four kinds of week it suits.

Stilou is one app and everyone gets all of it. What differs is which part starts earning its keep first — so each page below is about a particular week, and each one says where Stilou will let that person down.

In short

Stilou suits people who hold a lot of context alone: founders, consultants and agencies, writers, and Amazon operators. It is a single-user macOS app with no team layer and no mobile version, so it helps an individual’s memory and judgement rather than a group’s coordination.

Being straight about it

Who it isn’t for.

Four pages arguing this suits you would be worth nothing without this one.

Teams who need to share

There is no shared workspace, no permissions and no handover. One person, one Mac, one brain. If the problem is coordination between colleagues, Stilou does not solve it.

Anyone not on a Mac

macOS only, Apple silicon strongly preferred. No Windows build, no iPhone or iPad app, and none this year.

People who want it to act alone

Nothing sends, replies, publishes or changes an ad account without you. If you want autonomous agents running overnight, this is the wrong tool on purpose.

Anyone who just wants dictation

Superwhisper and Wispr Flow are cheaper and, for that one job, excellent. We say so on their comparison pages. The brain is the only reason to pay us more.

Same app, either way

Thirteen tools.
One brain.

Whichever of these weeks is yours, it is the same download and the same free tier.
